Cindy Crawford Admits She’s Had Botox

Cindy Crawford, the world-renown model who is now 43 years old recently admitted that she has had Botox injections to maintain her youthful looks. The mother of two stopped modeling almost a decade ago but continues to be in the media spotlight with beauty product advertisements and infomercial segments. In fact, she recently partnered up with cosmetic surgeon Dr. Jean-Louis Sebagh to produce the “Meaningful Beauty” line with Guthy Renker.
This line promises to preserve the vitality and vibrancy of the skin without the need for surgery and contains a variety of vitamins and antioxidants that ward off wrinkle formation. The products also contain skin-rejuvenating ingredients such as lipoic acid and Co-enzyme Q10 to promote healthy cell regeneration on all types of skin.Cindy Crawford developed the products as a client of Dr. Sebagh, and Dr. Sebagh had previously stated that he was “not at liberty to say” whether Cindy Crawford had undergone any type of surgery or cosmetic enhancements.
Crawford recently admitted to GQ Magazine that she’s been having Botox injections with Dr. Sebagh for over ten years.
Critics say that Cindy’s skincare line is false advertising because the former model declares that she relies on Dr. Sebagh’s products to maintain her youthful looks, but she did not admit to using Botox.
To many, this is a conflict of interest because the skincare line is promoted as a non-surgical option for treating wrinkles and preserving youthful looking skin. The skincare line is marketed as the first skin care line in the United States that uses a patented extract developed by Dr. Sebagh, and it is currently available on the shopping network QVC. Prices range from $24 to $55+ per product, while Botox injections cost upward of $400 per injection.
