Surgicare Unveils New Vaser Lipo Procedure

Posted by Cosmetic Surgery Review on April 28, 2009

CBR002068Vaser liposuction is now among the most sought-after fat removal procedures on the market, and is becoming especially popular for people looking for short recovery times than conventional liposuction.

A number of branded liposuction methods have entered the market in recent years; demand for SmartLipo and SmartLipo MPX are on the rise, and cosmetic surgery centers such as Surgicare in the United Kingdom have finally added Vaser Liposelection to their list of procedures.

VASER liposelection is currently available in the United States, and has become one of the leading laser lipo procedures for both men and women. VASER stands for Vibration Amplification of Sound Energy at Resonance, and uses ultrasound energy waves to liquefy the fat before extraction. This process reduces the risk of damage to surrounding tissues, and makes it easier for the surgeon to target very small areas. Vaser lipo can be performed on almost any part of the body, and some experts say this procedure carries a reduced rate of injury than conventional liposuction.

SurgiCare is one of the largest networks in the UK, and was established more than 16 years ago by a professor or surgery and chair of the Medical Advisory Committee in the U.K. The center currently offers a number of cosmetic and plastic surgery procedures, but is one of the few in the U.K. to offer Vaser Liposuction.

Key benefits of the Vaser procedure when compared to other types of liposuction include: faster recovery times; no risk of fat deposits being reabsorbed by the body because they are suctioned out completely; and reduced risk of damage to the surrounding tissues. Vaser liposuction can be performed to get rid of excess body fat around the waist, hips, thighs and buttocks, and also delivers some skin tightening benefits so that results look natural.
