Michael Jackson Considering Cosmetic Surgery Before Comeback Tour
Posted by Cosmetic Surgery Review on March 27, 2009
Music legend Michael Jackson is planning his comeback tour in 2009 with a roster of 50 shows at the 02 arena in the United Kingdom alone, and he’s reportedly preparing for the event by going under the knife – again.
The 50-year-old singer’s representatives deny that he is having cosmetic surgery this year, but Ian Halperin, Jackson’s unofficial biographer, reports that the singer has been setting up consultations with some of the world’s leading cosmetic and plastic surgeons in order to freshen up his look for the tour.
Michael had his nose slightly narrowed and eyebrows reshaped at the young age of 26 during the height of the ‘Thriller’ era. Since then, he has undergone a reported 50 more procedures that include rhinoplasty, facelift surgery, eyelifts, jaw reshaping, nostril reshaping surgery, lip reshaping and countless others.
The tour kicks off at London’s O2 Arena in July 2009, which means now is an ideal time to undergo any cosmetic or plastic surgery procedures and ensure optimal recovery before the big event.
Celebrity plastic surgery news is always a hot topic, and few stars can avoid the stigma associated with having plastic surgery. Some stars simply don’t care what the public thinks; Joan Rivers and Janice Dickinson are just two famous faces that have shared with the public exactly what they have had done, and how much they have spent.
Other celebrities prefer to keep their nip and tuck treatments a secret, and will unveil their new bodies or faces at awards shows or for an upcoming feature film.
Stars like Jackson who are always under public scrutiny can find it nearly impossible to hide the fact they’ve undergone a procedure. Jackson in particular has been the victim of botched surgeries, plastic surgery mistakes and has had to undergo surgery simply to correct a previous procedure.
