A recent report by the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery shows that Angelina Jolie, Gisele Bundchen and George Clooney are among the most favored celebrities for those looking for aesthetic improvements.

Over 20,000 plastic surgeons in 84 countries were surveyed to find out which celebrities were the most talked about and asked about during the patient consultation.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt topped the list for the ‘best body of choice’, and the survey also revealed the following results:

Celebrities and the fashion industry continue to promote the ‘ideal’ body and face and are often the inspiration for many men and women who pursue plastic and cosmetic surgery procedures.

According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Americans spent almost $12.4 billion on cosmetic and plastic surgery procedures in 2007, and more people have become interested in minimally-invasive cosmetic procedures such as laser hair removal and Botox in recent years – even more so during the price-sensitive economic climate.
